Welcome to East Marietta National Little League (EMNLL) – home of many great kids, family memories and outstanding Little League baseball instruction and play in East Cobb. EMNLL plays at Sewell Park, and offers baseball for boys and girls ages 4-13.
The 20th Annual EAST COBBER Parade & Festival will be held Saturday, September 12, 2015, RAIN or SHINE! EMNLL will once again participate in the parade, with players and coaches riding or walking on the parade route as a group.
Important Information for Coaches, Players & Parents:
Players participating in the parade should wear an EMNLL uniform.
Coaches/managers/team parents: Please plan for 1-3 adults from your team (depending on the age of the players!) to participate in the parade and be responsible for your team's players. Parents and siblings can watch the parade along the route. Arrange a meeting location at the end of the parade for player pick-up.
Parade staging is at the Mount Bethel Elementary School parking lot (1210 Johnson Ferry Road, Marietta, 30068). EMNLL will be in ROW H, SPACES 8-10 (see map below)
Players should arrive promptly at 9:00 a.m. If your vehicle is not in the parade, the police will not let you turn down Princeton Lakes Road to access the school parking lot, so park in a shopping center nearby and walk your player to the staging area.
The East Cobber Parade is also known as the "Candy Parade," so feel free to bring candy to throw to parade watchers!
The parade route is along Johnson Ferry Road, from Mount Bethel Elementary School to the Fountains of Olde Towne Shopping Center. The East Cobber Festival following the parade will take place at Johnson Ferry Baptist Church’s south parking lot, across the street from the end of the parade route.
***HELP!We need a volunteer driver who has a vehicle that can pull a trailer (league will provide the trailer) and/or a large truck bed for players to ride in. The driver must have completed a Little League Volunteer Application for 2015. Contact
The 2015 EMNLL General Membership Meeting will be held on Saturday, September 12, at 1:00 p.m., at Sewell Park, Field 3.
The purpose of the meeting is the election of the 2015-2016 Board of Directors and reporting to the membership on the condition and financial position of the league.
All eligible members, as well as interested members of the community, may attend. Only current members in good standing may vote. Membership is determined by your submission to a league official of a completed (including SSN and photo ID) Little League Volunteer Application in calendar year 2015.
